“K&C fence did a fantastic job! Adam and Alfredo installed my wood fence on an uneven terrain and it still looks great! The wood is high quality and the installers were efficient. I will recommend K&C Fence company to my family and friends.”
““K&C was prompt, professional, and friendly - they made the process easy & our front facing wood fence is beautiful! We needed a “custom” design (large wheels for easy use) and it turned out great. They used high quality materials too, to avoid warping down the road…and done in 1 day! Second time I’ve used K&C and I’ll continue to use them :) “”
Mt. Juliet Fence Planning Considerations
Sloped ground. Sloped ground is the planning issue our Mt. Juliet work points to most clearly. On Heartland Drive, the fence ran down a steep hillside to meet the neighbor’s fence, and the left line began about 14 feet off the back corner of the home. If your lot slopes, mention it when you request an estimate so we can discuss layout and gate placement with you. Replacing part of an older fence? Tell us what is already in place, as with the Melbourne Court East project, where existing fence was removed first.
Permits and placement. For properties within Mt. Juliet city limits, the Building & Codes Department lists fences not over 7 feet in height as an exception to building permits. This exception should not be treated as approval of every fence height, location, or design. The city’s Planning & Zoning Department also reviews accessory buildings and fences. Before ordering materials or starting installation, confirm applicable zoning requirements and whether your project needs additional review. The city has also adopted the 2018 International Swimming Pool and Spa Code, so ask the city about any fence that will surround a pool.

Easements, plats, and HOA rules. Before finalizing a fence line in Mt. Juliet, review your recorded subdivision plat and any available property survey for boundaries, easements, and rights-of-way. Ask the city’s Planning & Zoning Department about fence placement and any property-specific zoning or subdivision conditions. If your property is governed by an HOA, separately check its covenants and architectural-review requirements before installation; do not assume city approval also satisfies HOA requirements.
